SoulConnect is an independent, ad-free online space for community, exchange and collaboration.
The platform is designed for people and initiatives who want to live community online without algorithms, distractions or commercial exploitation.
Unlike traditional social networks, SoulConnect does not focus on reach or attention, but on relationships, structure and sustainability. Content does not disappear in an endless feed, but remains accessible. Groups can grow, form subgroups and be used over the long term. Events, projects, resources and shared impulses come together in one place.
SoulConnect is intentionally free from political debates, sensational news and constant negative information. It is meant to be a grounded and conscious space where people can connect, collaborate and support one another in bringing heart-centered projects into the world.
SoulConnect is not meant to replace existing channels such as Telegram or Facebook. It is a calm, complementary space for depth, clarity and long-term community building. The transition can be gentle and unhurried.
The platform is operated independently, without advertising or data analysis, and is intended to be supported by the community itself in the long run, for example through memberships or voluntary contributions. Access to SoulConnect remains free of financial barriers.
In short, SoulConnect is a digital space that grows from within rather than being driven from the outside.
Profile
Providing your date of birth is required for legal reasons. In Austria, there is a legally defined minimum age for using certain online services. The date of birth is used solely to verify that this requirement is met.
It can be hidden from the public and is not used for any other purpose.
SoulConnect currently does not generate automatic thumbnails for uploaded videos. This is not a bug, but a conscious decision focused on quality, stability, and intentional presentation.
Automatically generated thumbnails are created at random and often capture unflattering or unrepresentative moments from a video. In addition, this kind of processing would require extra system resources, which could affect platform stability in an open community environment.
Instead, SoulConnect treats video sharing as a conscious posting process. A video is not just a file, but a post with a clear intention. Part of that process is deciding how the post is visually represented.
For this reason, when sharing a video, the thumbnail is meant to be deliberately chosen and added as a separate image. This keeps the presentation clear, consistent, and fully in the hands of the person sharing the content.
SoulConnect is not a traditional video platform, but a space for connection, exchange, and mindful content. Intentional design takes precedence over automated visuals.
Content Reporting & Moderation
Yes. In general, any post, comment, group content or profile element can be reported. A reporting option is available directly on the respective content.
When submitting a report, one of the following reasons can be selected:
- Harassment or bullying
- Inappropriate content (e.g. mature or sensitive content)
- Misinformation or misleading content
- Offensive or abusive content
- Suspicious content (e.g. spam, fraudulent content, potentially harmful links)
- Other
This categorization helps moderators review reports in a fair and structured way.
Reports are collected and reviewed.
If content is reported multiple times, it may be automatically hidden temporarily.
Administrators are notified when this happens and review the content in a timely manner.d way.
The following content types can be reported:
- Activities and activity comments
- Groups and group content
- Forums, discussions and replies
- Documents, photos and videos
- Blog comments
This ensures that all areas of the platform can be used responsibly.
Yes. Members can report other members if they believe the community rules have been violated.
Additionally, members can block other members. Blocked members and their content will no longer be visible to the person who blocked them.
If a member receives multiple reports, their account may be automatically suspended temporarily.
Administrators are notified and decide on further steps.
SoulConnect aims to be a safe, respectful and open space.
Reporting and moderation tools help protect the community and allow problematic content to be addressed transparently and without prior censorship.
Resources
- Click on your profile settings in the top right corner (your profile picture).
- Navigate to “My Resources” → “Add Resources”. This will open the editor where you can create your listing.
- Start by entering a title for your listing, followed by a clear and meaningful description.
- Choose the categories that best fit your listing. Multiple selection is possible.
Under “Default Category”, select the main category that should be displayed. Only one category can be chosen here, even though your listing will still appear in all selected categories. - If relevant, add address details such as country, region, city, and postal code.
By clicking “Set Address on Map”, you can place a pin on the map and fine-tune the exact location by moving the map. If you know the precise coordinates, you can also enter them directly below the map. - Add your contact information, such as phone number, website, and/or email address.
- Below that, you can upload up to 5 images. Please make sure to add at least one image.
- Under Network, you can link your profiles on other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or X (Twitter).
- In the pricing section, you can either enter a fixed price or select a price range.
The more currency symbols shown, the higher the price range. - If your listing is related to living space (for example housing), you can choose the type, available features, number of bathrooms and bedrooms, and the status (for sale, for rent, sold, rented).
- If you are offering a job, you can select the job type and sector at the very bottom.
- Finally, click Preview to see how your listing will look once published.
When you are happy with it, click Submit to send it for review. After approval by the moderators, your listing will be publicly visible.
